I regretted not having photos taken at the birth of my first-born child, and I thought to myself, “How did I not capture that amazing, once-in-a-lifetime moment?”  When my second baby was born, I "upgraded" to the nurse using a point-and-shoot camera to take three pictures of my baby girl being born, but I still had regrets. They were blurry and grainy, and I wanted to remember more of that whirlwind of a birth. Well, it wasn't until my third baby that I finally decided to ask someone to be there to capture the entire birth. I have never regretted that decision and will always cherish those images.

As your photographer I want to capture those moments in time you never want to forget but are somehow over before you know it. The first time you gaze into your baby’s face and their tiny fingers wrap around yours. Her sweet rosebud lips. His adorable squishy cheeks. How perfectly baby fits into her papa’s hands and snuggles into his mama's neck. The absolute joy and overflowing love you feel when you look into your baby’s face.

As a mama to five little ones, I understand this desire to hold onto these fleeting childhood moments. Capturing the beauty and pureness of a child's true self is a passion of mine - and I’d love to share it with you and your family.

Jenna loves living in Ada, Minnesota, where she and her husband, Ruben, are raising their five children. She enjoys family gatherings, farmers markets, being in the kitchen, cozy coffeeshops, and a great find at the thrift store. At the age of 4 she insisted she would one day have 100 children and name all the boys Peanut Butter and all the girls Jelly - she is now wise enough to be content with five of her own for now and get extra newborn snuggles during photo sessions.
